PENDLETON, Ore. (Oct. 15, 2026) — Wildhorse Resort & Casino, Eastern Oregon’s premier family and entertainment destination, today shared details of a partnership with Gala Systems™, a global leader in stage and audience transformation. The partnership centers on the property’s new convention center and concert hall, part of a larger expansion that began in 2024 and includes a new hotel tower that will double the current resort capacity and expanded dining options.

As part of the more than $100 million expansion, Gala Systems is providing engineering, installation, training and testing of its Gala Venue® system, which enables flexible auditorium spaces and seating configurations. The technology enables seamless transformations for performances, conferences, banquets, receptions and sporting events that previously required extensive manual and logistical work. Multiple custom-engineered, pre-programmed layouts allow the system to accommodate a range of events and audience sizes in a matter of minutes as opposed to days.

Upon completion, Wildhorse will be the first tribal casino to feature the innovative flooring and seating system, as well as one of the first venues in the United States to do so.

“Through this technology, we will book more performances, more meetings and events while enhancing our guests’ Las Vegas-style casino experiences,” said Gary E. George, CEO of Wildhorse Resort & Casino. “That process will be streamlined as the elevations, flooring and seating system are engineered into the project and can be programmed and operated from a tablet.”

Wildhorse Resort & Casino’s expansion will feature more than 40,000 square feet of convention and meeting space, including a 16,500-square-foot concert hall capable of hosting more than 1,700 guests for higher-capacity events such as national touring musical acts and headlining comedians. With Gala Venue, walls and elevations can be configured to accommodate meetings and events taking place simultaneously.

Montreal-based Gala Systems is internationally known for transforming performance and assembly spaces with automation technology. Since 1980, the company has delivered more than 2,400 projects for theaters, museums and universities across multiple countries.

Wildhorse Resort & Casino has made progress on other fronts in its quest for the ‘Next Level’ of entertainment in the region, partnering with Seattle Entertainment Group, a Native-owned talent-buying and event-production company. The partnership aims to develop an entertainment strategy, including national headliner programming and operational planning, as the project’s elements begin to reach the final construction stages.

The expansion remains on track for completion in April 2027.

Additional details will be revealed as expansion elements, dates and events are finalized.
