Partnership aims to drive attendance & coordinate resources at
PNW’s only professional women’s golf tournaments

PORTLAND & PENDLETON, Ore. (June 16, 2026) — Oregon’s two premier professional golf tournaments today announced a partnership aimed at growing women’s golf and highlighting the game’s economic impact. The Tournament Golf Foundation, a Portland-area nonprofit that operates The Standard Portland Classic, and Wildhorse Resort & Casino, owned and operated by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, collaborated to create affordable ticket packages and stagger tournament dates to maximize the experience for guests and professional women golfers while pooling resources.

The Standard Portland Classic is the longest-running non-major tournament on the LPGA Tour. This year’s event will be held Aug. 13-16, 2026, at Columbia Edgewater Country Club in North Portland. The following weekend, the Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic, now in its fifth year, will take place at Wildhorse Golf Course in Pendleton as part of the Epson Tour, the official qualifying tour of the LPGA.

The two events represent the only regular tournament stops for professional women’s golf in the entire Pacific Northwest. The growing popularity of professional women’s athletics prompted organizers to look at innovative ways to partner and encourage guests to support the athletes and the communities that host each tournament.

The two main components of the partnership are the following:

  • Weekend Dates: In 2026, the respective tournaments will take place on back-to-back weekends. In previous years, the tournaments would run concurrently or be unevenly spaced, which diverted potential resources, volunteers, attendees, and competitors. Organizers worked with the LPGA and EPSON Tour to position both tournaments consecutively. Some of the athletes will be able to compete in both events.
      • The Standard Portland Classic: Aug. 13-16, 2026, at Columbia Edgewater Country Club
      • Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic: Aug. 21-23, 2026, at Wildhorse Golf Course

  • Ticket Package: Patrons can now purchase The Pacific Northwest LPGA Ticket Package, a set of two (2) any single-day general admission tickets to The Standard Portland Classic and two (2) admission passes to the Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic in Pendleton, good for all three days of the tournament. Each single package purchase is for two (2) people.
      • Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased via SeatGeek.

Epson Tour professionals compete in the Race for the Card, a season-long points competition that awards LPGA Tour membership to the top 15 players for the following season. Over the past two years, 12 and 13 players, respectively, who competed in the Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic later earned LPGA Tour status for the next season.

“This partnership promotes an incredible opportunity for people to see professional athletes at different settings in our state,” said Gary E. George, CEO, Wildhorse Resort & Casino. “The difference in professional golf is incredibly narrow, and we want people to see it.”

“We’re incredibly fortunate to have two premier women’s golf events taking place in Oregon on back-to-back weekends this summer. The Standard Portland Classic and the Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic together showcase the incredible momentum behind women’s sports in our region and give fans a unique opportunity to experience world-class competition, community spirit, and unforgettable summer events across the state,” Lynn Clary, Co-Tournament Director for The Portland Standard Classic. “Whether you’re a passionate golf fan or simply looking for a fun day with friends or family, both tournaments offer something special — from elite athletes and beautiful courses to local food, entertainment, and activities that make these events welcoming and exciting for everyone.”
