Grammy-nominated Progressive Metal Band Brings Their Powerful Ballads to the Blue Mountains
PENDLETON, Ore. (March 31, 2025) — Wildhorse Resort & Casino, owned and operated by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, announced that Bellevue, Wash.-based Queensrÿche will be bringing their three-time Grammy-nominee rock stylings to Rivers Event Center on May 25, 2025, at 7 pm. The Sunday night concert marks the band’s first appearance in Eastern Oregon.
The veteran rockers have toured with contemporaries such as Def Leppard, Judas Priest, and Metallica.
After forming in 1982, Queensrÿche charted early and often, with 17 songs making Billboard’s genre-specific charts, including seven top-10 singles. Their hit “Silent Lucidity” topped the rock charts and peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1991.
Queensrÿche’s commercially successful records have landed four top-10 albums on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) acknowledged the band’s permanence, with multiple albums receiving Gold and Platinum certifications.
