SUPERVISOR'S TITLE: Director of Slot Operations
SALARY RANGE: $40-60K
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing the operational needs of slot machine maintenance, including preventative maintenance needs, machine setups, repairs, maintain player tracking hardware, personnel training, personnel counseling and other technical needs in the Casino that may arise. Shall manage the daily operations of the Tech shop, including supervising, directing work, coordinating service needs with operational needs and monitoring the budget.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure customer satisfaction and casino play through prompt, efficient and friendly service in keeping slot machines fully functional and operating.
- Oversee and coordinate shop operations, including implementing work plans, cost containment, executes project scheudles, and other issues as directed by Director.
- Will directly supervise Slot Technician Supervisors providing direction and guidance.
- Oversee and coordinate training according to specified training plans, monitoring and documenting progress.
- Review maintenance schedules and follow up.
- Respond to technical needs promptly, handling directly or making work assignments as appropriate.
- Lead superviory functions of staff, including hiring, scheduling, leave approval, performance counseling, evaluation, training, operational orientation and staff development.
- Oversee and maintain an organizedd inventory of tech supplies, promoting efficiency and accountability. Makes recommendations for inventory and part orders.
- Review all documentation of equipment PM's and repairs.
- Promote effective communication with supervisors and co-workers through regular staff meetings and other forms of communication.
- Participate and attend designated meetings, trainings, activities, etc., as directed.
- Provide input to Director of Slot Operations for revisions or updates of training plans.
- Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
- Promotes a clean, safe and healthy work environment for employees and guests.
- Promptly reports all concerns to Supervisor.
- Ensure that the operation of equipment, tools, materials, etc., are handled in a safe manner and equipment fully operational and report any malfunctions or failures to supervisor immediately.
- Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Slot machine interior components (mechanical/electronic).
- Enters other sensitive areas when electronic and mechanical skills are required, when accompanied with proper escort.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of a Certified Advanced Slot Operations Management Program OR three (3) years slot tech experience.
- Two (2) years supervisory experience.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrate good mechanical knowledge, skills and aptitude.
- Able to operate independently in computer systems, including word, spreadsheets, internet and slot accounting systems and databases.
- Physically fit and able to bend, lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs and up to 300 lbs., or more using tools. Able to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers.
- Critical thinking abilities to: define problem, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Strong and effective communication skills - verbally able to provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities; ability to accurately document training progress and employee development.
- Computer literate and able to work independently in word, spreadsheets, slot accounting systems and databases.
- Demonstrated knowledge of gaming laws and regulations.
- Positive time management and proffesionalism.
- Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
- Flexible schedule - able to work varied hours and shift schedule changes when needed.
- Requires a High Security Gaming License clearance and at least 21 years of age.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of a Certified Advanced Slot Operations Management Program.
- Associates or higher college degree.
- Requires a Primary Management Official (PMO) gaming license clearance.
Salary range for this position is $40-60K yearly
This position WILL NOT receive overtime pay
